Mystery Novels and Adult Fiction

From my long multi-faceted life, six novels  have emerged--so far.  Beginning with an emphasis on mysteries, a genre which long fascinated me, and morphing to the use of  many other life  experiences to create new  novels, story after story flew from my fingers to my computer.

Life in beautiful South Florida led me to feature Longboat Key in my first  mystery novel.  My immersion in the game of Bridge led me to my next novel.  Reaching back to my life in New York City and the excitement of touring with a  musical group, representing a broad palette of ethnicities and cultures, resulted in yet another creation.  Each step in my life seems to bring forth a new story.  I’m as curious about what comes next as I hope you, my readers, will be.

LONG TIME PASSING:History of a Jewish Family

(Updated Paperback-see mfg for price)

Originally written and published as a legacy for Ruth’s grandchildren, Long Time Passing is the product of many hours of recorded interviews with her mother, as well as the many letters unexpectedly discovered after her mother’s passing.  Their existence was a true revelation, broadening Ruth’s knowledge and understanding of both her parents, but particularly her father, who wrote almost daily during World War II, vividly describing not only the action but also his feelings, something he never mentioned later in person.

Although written for family, this book has proved of much wider interest and has been lauded by non-family members as well.
